Heartland Sponsors Charity Golf Tournament - June 2006

6/19/06- Heartland Tanning was a Silver Sponsor of the 1st Annual Adoption Resource Fund Charity Golf Tournament held at the Lakewood Country Club in Lee's Summit.  152 golfers competed in the event that raised over $25,000 for the charity under the banner "Every child deserves a loving home".  Competing for the Heartland "team" were Ryan Callahan, Mike Craddock, and Bill Straka.  Debbie and Steve Benner were volunteer helpers for the event.  June 19, 2007 is the tentative date for next year's event.

Greg Henson, Debbie Benner and Steve Benner are retired founding directors for the organization that has assisted over 25 domestic and foreign adoptions over the past four years.  Greg and Holly Henson, and Benners, are members of the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, sponsor of ARF.
